The third annual conference of jewelry called "The modern market of luxury and jewelry" was held November 23, 2015 in the Congress Center of the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation in Moscow.
The conference was attended by representatives of the jewelry business in Russia, government agencies, as well as specialized publications and training courses. The conference program included three discussion panels: "The modern market of luxury", "Contemporary jewelery art and the art market", as well as a special session of the Federal House of Culture of the Russian Federation "The formalization of the art market."
Participants discussed the current state of the jewelry business in Russia, and its place in the culture and in the market of luxury and art objects, they exchanged views on the measures needed for its promotion and development, and also raised a number of legal aspects of the activities within the jewelery market. Guests and participants listened with interest to presentations of colleagues, enthusiastically participated in the discussions.
In between, informal communication between discussion sessions, participants repeatedly expressed approval to the address of such events and noted their importance and significance for the development of jewelry art in the country.
