As was noted at the meeting, in 2016, ALROSA Group produced 37.4 million carats of diamonds. Its net profit of 148.7 billion rubles., Which is 7 times more than in 2015. First Vice-President - Executive Director of ALROSA Igor Sobolev, in particular, said that the company plans to increase diamond production to 39.2 million carats and maintain this level in the near term.
Participants of the meeting also discussed a number of issues related to the development of social infrastructure, including health care quality improvement in areas and increase the pace of construction of new housing.
At the end of the meeting the president of Alrosa, Sergei Ivanov handed corporate awards and prizes to 43 best employees for their significant contribution to the company.
