Company Koin International, specializing in the organization of tender sales of rough and polished diamonds, a tender of rough diamonds in January 16-26 in Antwerp, told the Antwerp World Diamond Center (AWDC).

Antwerp, the leading center of the diamond trade, and Russian diamond company Alrosa, the world's largest diamond producer, reiterated their excellent cooperation on an exclusive event dedicated to the establishment of new contacts and conduct of the tender period, Alrosa. The event is a joint initiative of ALROSA and the Antwerp World Diamond Center (Antwerp World Diamond Centre, AWDC) . It was held at the Embassy of Belgium in Moscow.
AWDC and ALROSA jointly organized a high-level evening to establish new contacts in cooperation with the Belgian Ambassador to Russia Aleksom Van Meuvenom. Among those present were the Governor of Antwerp Keti Berks (Cathy Berx), ALROSA President Andrey Zharkov, representatives AWDC Board of Directors, Ramesh Patel (Ramesh Patel) and Zhak Veyts (Jacques Weisz), representatives of Gokhran and senior members of the Russian government. All long-term clients, ALROSA has also been invited to the event.
ALROSA President Andrey Zharkov, noted the importance of strong ties with Antwerp, and said that its first long-term contracts entered into diamond company just in this city and this is no accident.
AWDC President Stefan Fischler (Stéphane Fischler) spoke about the fruitful cooperation between the AWDC and ALROSA, as well as their leadership role in the global diamond industry. The importance of AWDC and ALROSA in the coming years will only grow, said Fischler. This proves that the appointment of the Vice-President of ALROSA Andrei Polyakov next president of the World Diamond Council (World Diamond Council, WDC).
A total of 33 representatives of Belgian companies toured in Moscow, including 15 long-term clients, ALROSA. At the event, Belgian companies which do not have an exclusive contract with ALROSA, have also been able to establish contacts with the world's largest diamond producer
