In June 2016 the total jewelry exports from India grew by 4% to $ 3.51 billion, versus $ 3.37 billion in the same period last year.
Exports of gold jewelery (such as precious stones or without them) grew by 27.2% in June to $ 769 million versus $ 604.4 million a year earlier.
Export of silver jewelry in the reporting period rose to $ 292 million versus $ 274.8 million in the same period last year.
At the same time, exports of precious stones from India in June fell to $ 45.30 million versus $ 56.5 million a year earlier.
Exports of gold jewelry (such as precious stones or without them) grew by 21.3% in the first three months of fiscal year 2017 to $ 2.44 billion, while exports of gold medallions and coins decreased to $ 1.06 billion.
In April -June 2016 the export of silver jewelry increased to $ 969.2 million, while exports of gems fell to $ 100.6 million.
In the first financial year kvartale2017 total jewelry exports from India grew by 11.5% to $ 10.6 billion , versus $ 9.50 billion in the same period a year earlier.
