DRC Techno has launched a device for the detection of synthetic diamonds, which the company claims is the first device on the market capable of checking the diamonds grown in laboratories in all types of jewelry.
Apparatus J-Secure identifies synthetics size from 0.003 to 10 carats carats. The basic model is designed for retail shops, while the J-Secure plus - Machine for purchasing office.
DRC, which is based in Surat, India, is best known as the creator D-Secure apparatus for testing batches of individual diamonds. This device has helped to stop the practice of mixing undisclosed lab-grown stones with natural, the company said.
Both devices - D-Secure and J-Secure - can detect diamonds by using a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method and the "high pressure - high temperature" (HPHT). These are the two basic methods of growing synthetic diamonds.

Minister of Commerce and Industry of India Nirmala Sitharaman (Nirmala Sitharaman) opened the Indian center of the diamond trade (India Diamond Trading Centre, IDTC) in the complex Indian Diamond Exchange (Bharat Diamond Bourse, BDB) in Mumbai on December 20 in the presence of the head of Rio Tinto Diamonds, Jean-Marc Lieberherr (Jean-Marc Lieberherr), Vice-President of ALROSA Andrei Polyakov, and De Beers sales manager in Asia Pacific Marcus Lang (Marcus Lung). Vice president of ALROSA Andrey Polyakov expressed satisfaction with the opening of a special customs zone.
