Lucara Diamond announced the completion of the first stage of factory modifications to upgrade the large diamond recovery cycle so as to process the material of up to 90 mm.
This fraction size distribution, is expected to reveal the size of the diamonds found in the 1905 "Cullinan" (Cullinan) weighing 3106 carats.
Lucara earlier this year discovered the largest of the world's newly mined diamonds called "Lesedi La Rona" weighing 1109 carats.
Uilyam Lemb (William Lamb), President and CEO of Lucara, said: "Mine cars (Karowe) continues to make great, unique stones of high value."
